From Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30, 2017, cyclists will converge in Oriental, North Carolina for the 14th annual Cycle North Carolina Coastal Ride.
This ride features 3 full days of great routes perfect for any level of cyclists. Whether you are new to the sport, or a seasoned veteran, the Coastal Ride routes are a perfect match. Each day will feature a variety of routes with varying mileages. It's up to you whether you want to ride a little or ride a lot. All routes are loop rides that start and end in Oriental so there's no
moving camp each day. Over the three days, you'll travel along back roads with little traffic, experience unique coastal fishing communities and stroll along the waterfront with views of the Neuse River. Let's not forget about the small-town charm and hospitality that our host town of Oriental will be providing from the minute you roll into town.
Oriental is a small sailing town that tends to move at its own pace, which is usually dictated by which way the wind is blowing. With fantastic museums, plenty of marinas, great shopping, fresh seafood, and simply gorgeous waterfront surroundings, Oriental is a perfect destination to pull up a deck chair, relax, and enjoy the scene.
Last year's ride sold out in just a few months so make sure you register ASAP to avoid missing a great weekend of cycling in Coastal North Carolina.
